The Elizabeth von Arnim Society is hosting a conference this Friday 11 July, 2025 – both in person in New York City, and streaming online. The day will include the launch of a new essay collection, New Readings on Elizabeth von Arnim: the Unexpected Modernist, as well as a rare screening of The Runaway Princess, a 1929 silent movie with live music, based on von Arnim’s West End London hit.
